This is a socio-educational project whose mission is to inspire and educate a new generation of Ukrainian explorers of the Universe to restore the primacy of Ukraine in space and other high-tech areas.
The planetarium in Dnipro was created in 1968, when astronomy was popular, and was a place of cultural leisure. In 2018, with the support of the NGO Museum Center for Culture and Education of Youth and Noosphere, work to overhaul the venue began.
Already in 2020, in addition to Star Hall, the planetarium will have space for expositions, a space laboratory, a sound-video editing studio and accessible conditions for people with disabilities.
The modernized planetarium is a modern scientific and educational center of astronomy, science and technology, using the principles of STEAM education, which illustrates the natural connection between teaching disciplines, the priority of experiment and practice on theory.
