TAPS-Ukraine Charitable Foundation received $1 000 000 support from Max Polyakov, a Ukrainian philanthropist and entrepreneur. The man also called all Ukrainian IT companies and influential entrepreneurs to follow his example and financially support the fund. 

TAPS-Ukraine is collecting funds to provide humanitarian aid to refugees who were forced to leave their homes during the war in Ukraine. The fund will also be used to support Ukrainian warriors. Its main goal is to collect $30 million in donations within 30 days. 

A million dollars from Polyakov was the first major contribution to the fund. The entrepreneur did so after a corresponding offer from Boris Filatov, the Dneprovsk City Council reports. 

Max Polyakov is the leading partner of the Noosphere Ventures investment fund, as well as the founder of such companies as Firefly Aerospace, EOSDA, SETS, Renatus, and Maxpay. 

“For more than 8 years so far, Association Noosphere “has been in charge of many social projects on the territory of Ukraine. The principles of humanism are at the heart of the organization’s activities, and that’s why we have joined the global movement against invaders. I believe in helping our country, no matter where we do business. I believe that other entrepreneurs and investors will follow our example and, step-by-step, we will revive all the settlements that suffered from the occupants,” said the head of the Noosphere Association, Doctor of Economics and philanthropist Max Polyakov. 

Poliakov continues to support Ukrainians who have suffered from the Russian attack. Previously, Association Noosphere, which is a non-governmental, non-commercial organization, has joined volunteering programs to protect the cultural heritage of Dnipropetrovsk and procured medicines along with necessities for the military. Noosphere Association member patrons (Maxpay, ClickDealer, ASKfm, SETS, and Dragonfly Aerospace) openly criticized Russian aggression on the territory of the sovereign state of Ukraine. They made a general call to support the armed forces of this country financially.  

In addition to its financial and volunteer work, Polyakov’s company EOS Data Analytics, which specializes in analyzing satellite images, has customized its platform to process and localize any movements of Russian military equipment in Ukraine as quickly as possible. At the moment, the company can promptly identify 18 types of Russian military equipment, but joint efforts of many satellite monitoring players are still required to counter the aggressor more effectively.

Polyakov made such an appeal to the heads of major international satellite companies through the media, asking them to provide real-time access to satellite images on the territory of Ukraine. His initiative was supported in an open letter by Mikhail Fedorov, the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
